Magic City Chorus Competes in Region 26 Contest

The last Region 26 competition was in 2019. Both 2020 and 2021 competitions were cancelled due to COVID. It was so exciting to be able to perform again in 2022! Watch our contest package HERE:

Our contest in 2022 was a video contest. All competing choruses and quartets performed and recorded their two contest songs. These were submitted and the judging panel adjudicated the submissions. Being able to have contest provided momentum and motivation as we return to in-person singing.

Congratulations Magic City Chorus!

Region 26 Annual Competition and Convention was held in Saskatoon April 27-30, 2023. Magic City Chorus competed and placed second in the small chorus division, 5th overall and received the Most Improved chorus award. All of this PLUS hosted a fabulous convention. Congratulations MCC!

Magic City Chorus is back on the risers!

Saskatoon’s Magic City Chorus has moved from Zoom rehearsals to Hybrid rehearsals: Zoom and in-person at the rehearsal hall in Sutherland. Magic City Chorus held a successful and educational coaching weekend with the fantastic Corinna Garriock from Halifax to coach us on our contest songs which, of course, will transfer to our entire repertoire.
